FSRAIL SCENERIES
NL2000rail.zip (1.6mb)
Moving trains for NL2000 Scenery
Some railroads with moving trains in the centre part of the Netherlands were developed with the FSRail program. As fas as possible I tried to cover the static railroads which were already implemented by the NL2000 team. As a bonus, the Hollandse Brug (road and railroad) was designed. For those who installed my NL_Huizen scenery: Fly from the Stichtse Brug to the West and you will pass the Hollandse Brug.
Channel.zip (348kb)
Channel.jpg (15312 Byte)
The Channel Bridge
Forget the chunnel. Never again in the dark. Never again billions of tons of water above you. The channel bridge opened today. Regular traffic with TGV and HST trains between Calair and Dover. Commuter connection to Calais airport. The best: Unlimited free travels for any user of FS2000.
Source included for FSRail users who want to continue the line to their home.
Rheinmesh.zip (1mb)
Lorelay-small.jpg (29041 Byte)

Rheinflt.zip (7.5kb) Situation Files for Rheinmesh.

RheinSnap.jpg (32351 Byte)
rheinadd.zip (513kb) Add-On Scenery to Rheinmesh

The Rhein Valley
Scenery of the Rhein valley between Bingen and Lahnstein, the famous Loreley rock and surroundings. Includes a 38m elevated mesh scenery of the valley, a proper readraw of the hydrography and the railway lines on both sides of the river, with a tunnel through the Lorelay. Railways, ground drawings and the Mesh have been produced using FSRail 1.15 as test and prove of its new, unique ability to integrate complex 3D, 2D and elevated mesh design.

Augustine Egiomo has created an Add-On scenery to the Rhein Valley: "Rhein additional Scenery for use with "Rheinmsh.zip" Rhein Valley Scenery by Burkhard Renk . Best viewed with "Newsubt1.zip" summer Textures by Lennart Arvidsson . This Scenery includes moving Aircrafts. Use very dense to see it all-recommended for very fast computers. Use Sparse settings for slower computers."

TRAINS
  RSAExpr.zip (196KB)
Four South African Express Trains
Shunter.zip (303kb)
Short cargo trains (DB and SNCB):
Train series 57x foreseen for your addition of cargo. Usable in full version only.
GE45.zip (1.3mb)
18 cargo trains coupled to a new GE45 high nose locomotive. 9 of them have a CONRAIL engine, nine a CANADIAN NATIONAL
This type of engine is rather common, so we assume repaints to appear soon.

GE45.ZIP requires FSRail1.14 full version and shunter.zip to be installed before installation of GE45. Do not overwrite the file Traincar.inc from GE45 by any previous version.

FSRail.COM, the FS world leading supplier for ground based transportation systems of any kind, is proud to improve its costumors support. Highly skilled railroad expert teams with special equipment are available for you now. Just place train#690 or 691 on a rail near to your construction area, and you are no longer alone.

UNSUPPORTED HACKS
wide7006.zip (47kb) Daniel Schleusner provides a texture and instructions on how to create static single track rails of greater width of the embankment. Special for those experienced users who think that the number of option FSRail offers is too small.

EUROMESH
BGLPatch.zip (189kb) This is a little utility written in a few hours. It addresses the following problem:
Mesh files produced with the Microsoft Terrain SDK tools may be unusable if they are on the western hemisphere. The reason seems to be that the header of the BGL file contains wrong eastern coordinates: Always W000:00:00.0000.
This utility opens a file browsing window, select the suspected file. It shows the (correct) western limit in a gray field and the eastern one. You now can change the eastern one, the bgl file can than be saved under the same or another name.
It seems that a value set a bit too far east does not make any harm, but the further it is, the worse the mesh resolution gets.
I succeeded to modify a scenery of Madeira with it.
